Volke Consulting Ltd. in Greer is the US Subsidiary of Volke Consulting Engineers in Munich, Germany. We employee over 700 engineers and are a major and innovative provider of engineering services to the automotive industry. We are currently looking for several experienced Supplier Quality Engineers for the BMW production facility in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

 

Job Description

 

You will be responsible for the quality processes and achievement of the quality goals for specific suppliers of interior components.

 Serve as liaison between the BMW plant and the supplierAnalyze and manage supplier quality issues, verify supplier corrective actionsEvaluate failures and determine root causesInterpret quality dataProvide guidance to improve supplier’s quality systems

 

You will have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering and have at least five years experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer within the automotive industry with a focus on interior components of the car. You will also have assembly line experience with knowledge in quality systems and a high developed understanding of complex technical systems. You will possess excellent relationship management skills, are highly motivated, hands-on, self-confident, persistent, consistent, and have the ability to work in a timely manner.
