Supply Chain Management - Mainframe / Client Server Systems Analyst
Automotive Information Systems Mainframe / Client Server Systems Analyst Position Primary responsibility is to act as a conduit between the business (client) and IS organization (including outsourced partners) in supporting existing application functionality as well as specifying, coordinating development, and testing of enhancements. Analyst works closely with the client for a given set of software applications that support their business processes. Recognizes that this position is the face to the client and as such you are representing IS and its management in your interaction with the client. Analyst supports both run-the-business (RTB) activities as well as executing tasks on assigned projects being accountable to project manager. Understanding of the following business processes and systems within the automotive supply chain and manufacturing area is preferable: Parts Ordering; Sales; Arrangement Inventory Management Production Planning Manufacturing Quality/Warranty Procurement Identifies, implements, and manages policies, procedures, and processes that contribute to the business objectives Analyzes, designs, modifies, and implements systems for various Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Purchasing business processes Assists in business case development for new projects Develops expertise in the relevant business area and ensures that the system applications support the current and planned future needs of the business Responsible for supporting the execution of application plans and strategies, information system (IS) architectures, investment, and service delivery strategies in alignment with the business priorities Ensures IS projects are executed with quality, efficiency, and maximum probability of success by adhering to Project Management Office (PMO) project governance proceduresQualifications" Experience with vendor management, project management, and business process modeling" Detail oriented with strong oral and written communications" Interpersonal and conflict resolution skills" Experience with mainframe and client/server development and analysis. " Excellent analytical skills." General mainframe requirements:- 10 years or more mainframe experience - 10 years of Cobol II experience - 8-10 years DB2 experience (DB2 expert) - 8-10 years of SQL experience (SQL expert) able to tune SQL to be efficient (faster and less costly). Understands latest SQL such as Left and right, Inner and Outer joins, sub select, SQL loader, etc. - 8-10 years CICS experience (CICS expert, including mapping online screens)- 8-10 years IMS experience- Multiple file format experience (primarily VSAM)- File utility experience (syncsort, fileaid, IBM IEB utilities, superc compare)- 10 years - extensive unit, system, and regression test experience- 8-10 year of JCL experience- 10 years of TSO/ISPF/SDSF experience- 5 years of Endevor experience " General client server requirements:- C# .NET- Visual Interdev, Visual Basic- NetExpress Cobol- Oracle (PL/SQL)- DB2 UDB- ASP, Javascript, HTML, DHTML, VBScript- Middleware products/technologies (MQSeries, Vitria, Informatica)- J2EE- Portal technologies- WebSphere- UNIX (Solaris, AIX) and Windows experience" Five or more years of related experience at a professional level" Bachelor s degree in a related discipline (will consider equivalent related college or technical courses, professional experience)" Advanced knowledge of modeling tools, word processor, spreadsheet, PC or mainframe applications to create specialized applications or products of a highly technical nature
