SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR
RESPONSIBILITES:
• Responsible for administering Patch management solutions across the Enterprise.
• Review and coordinate patching schedules and deployments
• Coordinate with the Security team for the timely remediation of assessed vulnerabilities.
• Responsible for working with server and network administrators to deploy patches following established change management procedures
• Research Microsoft security vulnerabilities and third party software security updates.
• Will be required to work and coordinate testing and piloting of newly released security updates.
• Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing broken patching clients, installing patching clients where not found, and using various reporting to identify servers that are missing security updates.
• Reviewing and assessing implemented virus protection measures.
• Responsible for managing and administering enterprise wide anti- virus solutions.
• Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing broken anti-virus client agents, installing agents where not found, and using various reporting tools to identify servers that are missing signature updates.
• Responsible for coordinating real-time monitoring of virus alerts and administration of the anti-virus management console(s).

REQUIREMENTS:
• College degree and a minimum of five years hands on experience in operating and administration of server systems
• Requires technical expertise in systems administration and security tools, combined with the knowledge of security practices and procedures
• Must have broad technical knowledge of network administration and operating systems (e.g. Windows, UNIX, VMWare, Cisco IOS, routers, switches, ASA, IDS, and VPN)
• Should be able to demonstrate experience with the administration of various security software packages such as patch management software, malware protection/Anti-Virus software, vulnerability scanning software.
• Must have demonstrated the ability to troubleshoot network security problems andhave an in-depth understanding of networking protocols
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal necessary..
• Must be able to work independently, multitask, and prioritize projects appropriately.
• Will be required to maintain good documentation of standards and procedures.
• The capacity to work well under pressure, handle diversified day to day tasks and to work flexible hours with minimum supervision needed.
• Networking and Security certifications are a plus.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes are a plus
