We are a wholesale automotive parts company that recently expanded its operations by opening a new location in Houston, Texas.  We are seeking a responsible and experienced person to manage the launch and on ongoing support of our new business software and systems.

 

Candidate’s primary responsibility will be to transition and/or set up company administrative activities from Quick Books software to the new ACCPAC software and to provide ongoing support following successful implementation.  The business operations necessary to establish in ACCPAC and manage include but may not be limited to the following:

 Accounts Payable / ReceivableBanking and related financial transactionsOrder processing and invoicingInventory managementPurchasingShipping and receivingImport and distribution Management reporting

 

Candidates must have the following skills and attributes:

 Must possess outstanding computer skills. Information technology / computer science / business systems experience requiredMust have the ability to learn new business processes and software quickly and to train others on same.Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Office products particularly Excel and AccessExperience with Quick Books and/or ACCPAC software is preferredAbility to achieve and maintain expected results and multitaskWell organized with the ability to manage own time and projects effectivelyA positive attitude and the flexibility to meet required completion dates

 

 

Other:Import and distribution experience preferred but not requiredCollege degree relating to information technology, computer science and/ or business software/systems is required
