Technical Sales Engineer (Japanese Speaking/Writing)

Main Responsibilities:

 

Provide technical service support to production-engineering and sales & marketing staff. Contact with customers and provide products technical information and support in feasibility of designs and technical issues. Be focal technical service liaison between production-engineering department, production department, sales and Marketing Department, affiliated companies, and customers with newly developed techniques or practices in processing company products. Visit customers with Sales account managers or independently as needed to provide technical assistance on design issues, make design recommendations, and assist with all tooling and sample issues until project rolls into production.

 

 

Qualifications:

1.  B.S. degree or three to five years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.

2.  Must possess a fair understanding in the consumer-electronics industries with the emphasis on the cellular phone application.

3. Has a strong background in engineering skills with a preference for project  management experiences.

4. High level exposure to and understanding of business relevant to mechanical

  components.

5. Proficiently use AutoCAD, CATIA (V5), and optionally PRO-E.

6. Must be willing to travel extendedly (30% to 40% traveling)

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Should be an entrepreneurial self starter with high-energy and focus. Have the ability to

produce effective results with minimum direction. Must be a team player that can form a

strong relationships inside and outside, an excellent communicator (written and oral), hard worker, comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes chaotic start-up environment. A good quality of verbal and written Japanese communication skills is a big plus.
