Technical Sales Manager (RV)

QUALIFICATIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS•Interface with Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation, engineering, manufacturing, customer service, suppliers and body builders on product development, body installation and vehicle field performance testing relating to the design and operation of FCCC gas/diesel chassis. •Assist in preparation of customer specs for bids and RFP’s. •Provide detailed product information and technical guidance to body builders and dealers. Responsible for regional dealer training. •Assist and counsel body builders on prototype development on our chassis and perform EPQ audits of finished vehicles at body builders. •Assist in writing and presenting product bulletins. •Communicate customer needs for incorporation into the FCCC product plan. Where product problems occur, assist FCCC customer service department to determine the root cause, establish a plan of corrective action and implement the product change. •Travel may exceed 50%. Position will perform other assignments as requested by the Product Manager.SUPERVISES: NoneMINIMUM PREFERENCES: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sales and Marketing or Business Administration required with a minimum of five years experience in engineering or sales and marketing. Good oral and written communication skills necessary.
