CITY/STATE: Charlotte, NCPOSITION TYPE: Full Time, EmployeeJOB CATEGORY: Quality Assurance/SafetyEDUCATION LEVEL: High School or equivalentSALARY: 30,000.00 - 35,000.00 USD /year Tire Inspector Needed The Tire Inspector’s primary focus is to make certain that all Vendor policies and procedures are being followed consistently to ensure credit received will correspond with credit given to our customer. The Inspector occupies a position of confidence and responsibility in the performance of all activities related to inspector’s position. THIS POSITION IS IN LINCOLNTON, NC ... RESPONSIBILITIES Routine inspection of tire and/or tube with the ability to determine if further action is needed. Working knowledge of Hunter mounting and balancing machines Assist Warranty manager with merger and acquisition adjustment process as needed. May require travel. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Education:  Minimum: High School/GED Preferred: Minimum requirements plus 2 years of failed tire and wheel inspection. Prior work experience sufficient to work under general supervision Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Company, in its discretion, may find appropriate and acceptable. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT/TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Physical demands:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or tools; lift with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk, hear, taste and/or smell; the employee must lift and/or move up to 125  pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Work environment:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.  The noise level in the work environment is usually mild.
