USED TRUCK TRANSACTION SPECIALIST

REQUIREMENTS: Lead and participate on teams to maintain and improve the systems and processes involved in Used Truck Operations, including the Used Truck Locator, Trade Slot Tracking System, Notification System, Penske Trade System, and others. Ensure that all trade processes are properly documented and are consistently followed. Provide support as required to comply with internal and external audits. Ensure used truck purchases comply with contract documentation. Ensure that all new truck requirements have been met before accepting trades. Identify, research, and work with Daimler Truck Remarketing's (DTR) Quotation and Contracts team to resolve issues promptly as they arise. Lead acquisition team for used truck trade process. Communicate with Fleets, Daimler Truck Finance (DTF) and DTR Inspection group to ensure issues in the trade process are promptly identified and resolved. Work with DTF, DTR Controlling, and Accounting to properly process and account for repossession payments to DTF. Accurately and timely compile the contract information for new deals. Ensure all used truck elements of the deal are understood and presented correctly to the customer. Facilitate resolution of any contract issues. Ensure the integrity of data in the Used Truck Locator system, Trade Slot Tracking System, Notification System, the Residual Value System, and the Deal Management system.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: A BS/BA business degree with minimum seven (7) years related experience in finance related positions including at least two (2) years supervisory experience. Strong Excel skills required and Access skills preferred. Strong leadership, problem solving and interpersonal skills are important to this position. Must be able to effectively communicate and help resolve issues with Fleets, Dealers, DTF, as well as various departments within Daimler Trucks North America. Familiarity with heavy duty vehicle specifications and applications preferred.
