Position Purpose:

The procurement specialist is in charge of the procurement activity for an assigned portfolio. He or she ensures purchased items or services are ordered from the selected supplier and delivered at the right time, right cost and in conformance with specifications.

Key Functions:Review requisition and use approved specification to ensure quality and continuity of goods and services and to avoid disruption to assigned activity.Proceed with Action Messages from the system on a timely manner addressing cancellation, de-expediting, and expditing of parts.
Primary responsible for following up the FTE's components/ M&S's targeting delivery and following up payment as previously agreed and acknowledged by suppliers.Monitor supplier’s delivery performance for assigned commodities or services using measurement tools and key performance indicators.Return defective unit to supplier.Implement /comply with supplier agreement/contract.Maintain data integrity in the manufacturing systems.Solve reception and invoice discrepancies.
Prepare periodic reports as agreed with management.Demonstrate commitment to customer service and production lines, working as part of the team to ensure the right products are delivered at time and at the right price.Comply with applicable company policies including personnel and QHSE.
