Our client is in search for a Distribution Center Manager that has previous experience in the tire industry in the Champaign,IL area. This is a start up opportunity due to growth within the company. The Distribution Manager's role includes:Managing daily operations Increase sales and improve profitability by supporting both areas Comply with company and federal laws and regulations Communicate effectively with employees regarding company wide current events Being actively involved in hiring/retention of employees Ensure efficient and effective utilization, protection and management of company assets Reinforce the small tire distribution business model with emphasis on delivery systems and CSR's Additional responsibilities

Requirements:Bachelors Degree OR Combination of education and 5+ years experience in tire industry Wholesale and/or Retail Tire knowledge preferred Proficient in MS Office Strong communications skills (verbal and written) Passionate for customer service
