Web Administrator/Webmaster

Primary Position Responsibilities:

- Management of the websites and updating them as necessary. 

- Responsible for executing online marketing programs, including all outbound email customer campaigns, weblogging, viral marketing, search engine optimization, etc.

- Responsible for blogs on the company website – for both internal and external customers. Will be the primary voice of company to these audiences. 

- Responsible for soliciting and updating information both internally and externally in line with the strategic intent of the company

- Responsible for keeping the site fresh, ensuring that the site is a valuable resource – marketing,  communication, collaboration tool, information source and gateway to our clients, the public and the media. 

- Work closely with the LINE- X ‘s Application Service Provider (ASP) to develop best practices and assist in the creation of online marketing campaigns, surveys, communications, PR activities, etc and in continually improving  campaign distribution tactics, open rates, click-through rates

- Work with Finance and IT Departments and with the ASP to develop, manage and maintain new and existing databases in line with the company’s business requirements.

- Execute detailed analysis on website performance, including comprehensive reports detailing optimization strategy.

 

Required Skills/Characteristics:

- Internet savvy and abreast of the latest developments and trends in internet marketing, communications and other applications including online research techniques, list segmentation, and permission strategies

- Extensive understanding of CRM applications and general e-commerce applications management. 

- Solid understanding of print design and web design (HTML and FLASH) and graphics

- Strong research, writing, and communication skills

- Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize accordingly

- Able to operate at all levels and provide support to team members and other organizational functions as needed

- Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and a sense of urgency

 

Education/Experience:

4-8 years web marketing, writing, communications, and production experience in combined agency and client capacity.  Proven track record of effective communications with management. Degree in marketing or technology highly desirable.  Automotive experience a plus. Dealer/franchise interaction preferred.
