(4) Senior Infrastructure Project Managers
Manages various Information Services projects of significant magnitude in terms of complexity, cost,time-constraints, internal and external staffing, and technology. Coordinates all aspects of projects lifecycle from initiation through delivery with a focus on delivering defined business requirements.Major Accountabilities:. Provides project management support in compliance with applicable bank policies and standardsand in accordance with established Project Management Institute (PMI) practices for all assigned projects/programs.. Improves and maintains resource management processes for Technical Services managers. Creates and maintains a current resource forecast. Develops staffing plans that facilitate proactive resource provisioning to meet planned demand.. Integrates Bank project task schedules with other production operations activities.. Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project i.e., project/program on schedule and within budget constraints. Identifies cross-project interdependencies and addresses resource conflicts.. Serves as an internal project consultant working typically on multi-disciplinary projects across Information Services departments and/or other Bank divisions.. Manages people and other resources indirectly as part of cross-functional team delegation, required to complete the project.. Provides project status reports to all stakeholders to include budget, resource status, and shared responsibilities for ensuring project success.. Manages external vendors, including task reviews, costs, fees, agreements and coordinates vendor activities.. Participates in IS-wide project management and process re-engineering standardization and improvement initiatives.Skills/Knowledge:. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, a related field or equivalent education required. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.. Six to Eight years progressively responsible experience in project management within the financial services industry. Project management experience in multiple operational processes and technologies such as ITIL, LAN/WAN, systems implementation and integration, desktop and server engineering, telephony, databases and data storage management, and systems life cycle management preferred.. Demonstrated experience using a structured project management methodology such as System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Project Management Institute (PMI) practices, Microsoft Project Server, and/or Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF).. Thorough technical and practical knowledge of process methodology, budget and cost management experience preferred.. Excellent communication skills both oral and written with strong analytical and problem solving skills.. Able to take initiative in fast paced work environment and able to interface with all functions at all levels within and outside of the organization.
