Job Category: ASales/Retail/Business Development Type: Full Time, Employee Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree Business Development Officer - Healthcare EquipmentClick here to apply online My client company is seeking experienced, aggressive equipment finance/leasing salespeople with a minimum of 5-7 years experience financing Healthcare related equipment.Average annual sales volume in excess of $15MM is the target. The transaction size should be below $500k and should be on the Vendor side of the business. Individuals should be highly motivated, team-players. The ideal candidate should have a verifiable volume history and an idea of the amount of business that they can bring with them. To excel in this position you will possess the analytical ability to structure and price sound financing programs, have strong negotiating skills, and be a team player. You will need to be independent, highly motivated, with a strong desire to succeed, and have excellent communication skills. You will have a solid grasp on vendor-driven equipment leasing, principles of accounting, the credit approval process, documentation as well as related tax guidelines & pre-tax expensing benefits. You will have the freedom to generate new business anywhere in the United States.There could be some existing accounts that would need to be serviced but mainly this position will be for new business development. As a Business Development Officer you will: Secure new vendor relationships with qualified dealers, distributors and/or manufacturers of Healthcare related or medical equipment. Qualify and build on-going relationships with pre-existing and new vendors. Design financing programs for vendor relationships that will provide my client company with a high percentage of equipment finance agreements and/or lease transactions generated by the vendor. Provide sales training to vendors’ sales force as to how to use equipment finance agreements and/or leasing as an additional sales tool. Achieve individual business development goals, including new sales, calling activity and business retention quotas. Work closely with V.P. Sales and Marketing Director to create marketing collateral and special programs for use either by the sales force of existing vendors or to generate new vendor relationships. Travel locally or nationally to cultivate customer relationships, meet with prospects at funding expositions or generate new leads at trade shows. Required Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field . Consideration will be given to prior, documented industry experience in lieu of formal degree. Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Proven knowledge of funding instruments, marketing, customer service. Strong business development, negotiation, strategic planning and sales goal skills. Solution oriented with creative ability to meet client needs and resolve concerns.
