ACH Risk Manager (Experience Required)
OBJECTIVE:Responsible for establishing and enforcing appropriate policy, procedures, and standards for Third Party ACH Processing. Establish appropriate monitoring programs and recommend controls for mitigating inherent risk with ACH transactions. Work with business development officers to evaluate other companies in an effort to grow this ACH service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The following is a list of essential functions, which may be subject to change at any time and without advance notice. Management may assign new duties, reassign existing duties, or eliminate a function.
· Assist business development officers in evaluating potential ACH business prospects
· Establish evaluation process for potential ACH customers of the bank
· Develop an enterprise wide ACH risk management program
· Establish and enforce appropriate policy, procedures, and standards for Third Party ACH Processing.
· Examine current ACH risks and make recommendations for mitigation
· Monitor operations of the Fedline/Electronic Banking area
· Ensure all Annual ACH audit findings are addressed
· Perform Annual ACH Risk Assessment
· Report on ACH activity for ACH Processing Business line
· Act as backup to other departments as well as staff with in the department.
· Additional special projects or duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Bachelors degree; seven to ten years of department or electronic payment industry related experience. AAP certification strongly preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
· Strong personal computer skills (Microsoft Office preferred); exposure to banking/finance systems helpful
· Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
· Strong problem solving skills
· Ability to perform job functions accurately and with attention to detail
· Ability to work without supervision
· Ability to multi-task and remain organized
· Ability to maintain confidential customer and Bank information in a responsible and secure manner
· Ability to maintain bank funds and negotiable instruments in a responsible and secure manner
WORKING CONDITIONS
