ACH Services Supervisor

Basic Functions
ACH Services Supervisor will facilitate the ACH function. It will be the responsibility of this person to oversee the daily collection and distribution of funds, handle ACH exceptions and return items. Monitor and maintain transaction reporting for the bank in accordance with regulatory requirements. Maintain and monitor internal controls assessing the need for additional controls. Ensures timely and accurate processing of all electronic funds transactions as it relates to wire transfers and ACH. Create a rendundancy plan and train the back up resources. Act as the subject matter expert for all electronic payments both within and outside the organization. Works within the regulations of FDIC, NACHA, Federal Reserve Bank, Regulation E, OFAC and the US Patriot Act.

Duties/Responsiblities

· ACH Processing

o  Verify ACH Effective Date

o  View and Correct All Warnings

o  Process ACH File and retrieve confirmation that all ACH files were processed properly

· ACH Returns

o  Retrieve ACH file from processor

o  Download All Returns into LMS

o  Provide email to call center that returns have been posted

· Batch Renewal

o  Verify pay dates

o  Process Batch Renewals



Requirements

Minimum 2 years direct customer service experience.
Previous banking experience preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent verbal communication/interpersonal skills.
Well developed written communication skills
Effective analytical and problem-solving ability.
Must be able to work independently as well as being part of a team.
Detail oriented.
Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-task environment.
PC Proficient - typing/keyboard 35 wpm.
Availability to work flexible schedule.
