AUDIT SENIOR

Description The Senior Auditor performs and documents audit procedures to appraise the soundness and adequacy of the system of internal control based on an overall understanding of the general business of the bank. Responsibilities include: Participation in the audit planning process for individual assignments. Assists in developing and updating audit programs, flowcharts, ICQ's and permanent files. Participates in risk analysis work paper preparation. Directs the daily progress of field work, including organizing, delegating and controlling specific work assignments. Reviews audit findings, recommendations, and corrective action with audit management. Prepares audit report comments and drafts, in accordance with established report writing standards for subsequent reviews.Requirements Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Information Technology plus a minimum of 2 years auditing experience or related business experience.Demonstrated knowledge and experience related to Information Technology and principles/techniques of accounting, IT auditing, auditing, internal control and regulatory compliance matters. Excellent oral and written communication skills and computer skills including Word, Lotus, Excel and other appropriate software. Ability to travel to various PNC locations.
