AVP Commercial Loan Review Manager

SUMMARY:

Reports to the SVP of Loan Review.  Responsible for assisting the loan review analysis staff with complex issues as they arise, as well as overseeing the day-to-day supervision activities of the entire staff.  Assists the department Senior Vice President with quality control and department efficiency issues.  Assists the commercial loan review analyst with day to day activities and more complex issues relating to analysis, as well as aiding in production when necessary.  Supervises the entire loan review staff.  Oversees the preparation and reporting of the AALL.  Meets with senior management and the board of directors relating to risk ratings and trending of the commercial loan portfolio.  Oversees the preparation of various portfolio reporting the commercial loans.  Facilitates new and efficient ways to accomplish department goals in terms of quality and reporting.  Monitors production and making recommendation in these areas.  Assists with the technical maintenance within the commercial loan area.  Performs additional duties as assigned.

 

EDUCATION:

Bachelors Degree in accounting, business or finance.

 

EXPERIENCE:

3-5 years of  loan review experience or credit management experience.  Demonstrated management ability.  Strong oral and written communication skills.  PC experience in Windows and Microsoft Office preferred.  Ability to present to and lead others relating to commercial credit and risk issues.
