Discover the leading team dedicated to helping more Americans achieve their dreams. * As ranked for 2006 by Inside Mortgage Finance (Feb. 2, 2007)© 2007.AVP, Home Retention Division Primary Responsibilities Include:·  Ensuring daily operations are completed accurately and timely in accordance with internal and Investor requirements.·  Identifying needs, developing, and implementing procedures and system enhancements to improve processes, applications, and controls.·  Directing, motivating, and evaluating staff personnel as necessary.  Extending offers for employments, providing guidance for staff, enforcing company policy, including counseling and dismissal when warranted.·  Acting as key contact with investors, outside vendors and service providers.·  Overseeing the creation/distribution of reports to executive management on portfolio status.·  Overseeing the interaction between servicing and other departments.·  Communicating to executive management, as necessary to support division operations.·  Developing business plans and budgets to meet the future growth requirements consistent with company forecasts. A Successful Candidate Will Have:·  7+ years - Functional·  Strong verbal and written communication skills·  Ability to conceptualize and establish computer system operational and control enhancements·  Strong PC skills ·  Knowledge of AS400, Excel, and Word  ·  Flexibility and enjoy working with people of all skill levels·  Ability to be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision·  7 to 10 years of increasing responsibility in supervisory experience·  5 years experience in management of loan servicing operations The Ideal Candidate May Also Possess:·  Bachelors Degree with business or accounting major  ·  Knowledge of Access ·  Customer Service experience in Mortgage Banking  Countrywide is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to create great opportunities for our business and our people.
