Building wealth and rewarding careers, Countrywide Bank, FSB, is one of the largest banks in the nation with current assets of more than $100 billion.* From offering highly competitive deposit product rates to outstanding career possibilities, experience the extreme value we place on entrepreneurial talents and our team’s innovations.  * Based on current assets and other banking data reported to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) 1st quarter, 2007.AVP, Mail Services    Primary Responsibilities Include:·  Overseeing a high volume, mail services operation with focus on legal and certified mailings·  Working with Mail Services Managers to ensure that projects, goals, production and performance meet Company standards and compliance requirements·  Reporting to Senior Leadership on trends and impacting issues·  Maintaining open communication between the department and Senior Management in order to supply the Company with accurate information and recommendations regarding the department (such as trends, peaks and performance)·  Creating and implementing practical ideas and innovations that improve efficiencies·  Managing relationships with Primary Vendors·  Directing issues for resolution·  Evaluating available solutions and products for possible use·  Making and justifying recommendations to upper Management regarding financial uses and needs·  Representing the department and providing concrete statistics that measure production·  Evaluating departmental benchmarks of performance, quality and production from each region and the entire department·  Making decisions based on research, production history and experience·  Implementing the departmental Strategic Plan·  Directing and driving the Department/Managers to develop efficient procedures and capabilities using various technologies for tracking and delivering packages·  Consulting with Mail Services Managers regarding productivity and efficiency issues and providing comprehensive business solutions·  Performing all Special Projects and duties assigned by Management·  Overseeing the growth and development of the Mail Services Department·  Providing the vision to respond to both the stable and changing needs of the Company   A Successful Candidate Will Have:·  Completion of college coursework, degree preferred·  3-5 years experience in Corporate Mail Operations within a large, high volume environment.·  Qualified candidates MUST have experience in high volume, outbound mail operations supporting regular, legal, and certified mailings·  Knowledge of U.S. Postal Service, courier rate structures, requirements, restrictions and standard practices·  Familiarity with Mail Services equipment and folders/inserters·  Familiarity with Mail Services functions, automated equipment and mailing/labeling software·  Knowledge of how Mail Services Operations function logistically over distances and within local areas   Countrywide is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to create great opportunities for our business and our people.
