Account Executive Upon joining Countrywide's Full-Spectrum Lending (FSL) Division, qualified candidates will not only receive extensive orientation but also participate in formal classroom-training geared towards familiarizing and equipping new Loan Officers with thorough, working knowledge of FSL's proven business-strategies, policies and procedures and lending processes. This training primarily focuses on (but is not limited to) lead-distribution methodologies, sales-lending strategies, compliance issues, underwriting and loan-processing systems. Primary Responsibilities Include:· Advising potential borrowers regarding appropriate loan programs which may best suit their needs· Engaging in follow-up activities with prospective borrowers· Filing renegotiations and Underwriting program changes· Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all program policies and procedures· Assisting Loan Specialist on gathering file documentation· Completing loan application forms and adverse action notices, when appropriate A successful Candidate will have: 2+ years experience in mortgage sales with a history of funding 8 units per month in a large corporate environment. Applicants with less than 2 years of origination experience must have a history of successfully funding 8 units per month.Applicants who have little or no origination experience must have solid industry experience in one of the following areas; real estate, mortgage processing/underwriting, retail banking or collections. Ability to be detail-oriented and ability to multi-task without loss of high-level performance, productivity or efficiency.Knowledge of the applicable laws and regulations pertaining to mortgage banking, financial services, mutual funding and/or the workplace (i.e. FSLA, Civil Rights Act, American Disabilities Act, etc.)Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency with current software such as Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
