Description:ResponsibilitiesGeneral Statement of Duties: This individual is responsible to provide all of the Accounting support for Daily Settlement with the clients.Supervision Received: Works under general direction of a Supervisor.Supervision Exercised: No direct supervisory duties required.Examples of Duties: (This position may not include all of the duties listed, nor do the listed examples include all that may be found in this position.)Handles the balancing of daily settlement with Limited Divisions monetary transactions through posting and billing.Daily settlement of Point of Sale activity Prepares journal entries at month-end to book accounts receivable, payments and etc. to the general ledgerReconciliation of Intercompany accounts as well as other general ledger accountsMonitor carryover and volumesAssist with other accounting functions in the area (disputes, Chargebacks, Settlement, and Suspense)Serve as backup to fellow team membersResearching and completing client adjustment to customer accounts as needed. Assist with various accounting operations responsibilities when needed.Qualifications:Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of internal customer service online system (PCICS) and (CARS). Detail oriented with good balancing and follow-up skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to interact with associates and various departments and external clients. Excellent ten key skills. Experience in an operations area (i.e., Accounts Receivable, Cash and Customer Service). Prior general ledger experience (i.e., preparing journal entries, reconciliation of accounts). Very Good PC skills, Windows, Excel, and Word. Ability to work with multiple systems. Ability to handle multiple tasks. Aptitude for detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently. Ability to interact diplomatically with a variety of individuals at various organizational levels.
