Administrative Assistant III

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Performs a variety of administrative duties for a team of Direct Investment Funds managers and Research professionals. Candidate should be extremely organized and possess excellent oral and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage established processes and create new ones where needed, will complete day to day tasks and strategic projects with equal zest and attention to detail.  Creative self-starter who enjoys working independently and as a member of a team.  A resourceful thinker able to anticipate obstacles and creatively unravel them. A highly energized multitasking individual who can work well in high pressure situations with strict deadlines.  May plan and assist with events and various projects for the team.



SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Experience working with management level  staff. Ability to work independently, be flexible, adaptable, self-motivated and a team player. Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Strong computer skills, including PowerPoint/Excel/MS Word/Microsoft Outlook. Strong coordinating, multi-tasking and problem solving skills.

Exercises sound judgment, tact, diplomacy and professionalism, along with demonstrated accuracy, thoroughness and follow-through. Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and changing work environment, initiative and strong customer service orientation. Ability to establish strong working relationships to achieve individual and team objectives and contribute to building a positive team spirit.

Maintain schedules and calendars, organizing internal and external meetings, assist in developing and implementing department processes to improve efficiency and customer service. 

Make travel arrangements, prepare expense reports and works with A/P to ensure timely payments.

Prepare presentations, set up and maintains files and conduct research.  Prepare correspondence, answer phones. Most importantly, handle sensitive and confidential information.
