Algorithmic Java Developer, Equities Trading, Quantitative, PhD, Java, Computer science. NYC based Investment Bank is looking to hire an Algorithmic Java Developer on to its Equities Trading IT team.The role will involve responsibility  for designing, implementing, enhancing, maintaining and re-factoring large complex software applications and  developing the application which utilises Grid Computing and Service Orientated Architecture.The ideal candidate will have a PhD in computer science, mathematics, engineering or similar and should have strong pre requisite grades to support this PhD, solid server side Java design and implementation experience, over 2+ years in depth experience in Investment Banking, ideally from Equities.
