Analyst Consultant

Silverton Bank, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, is a leading national correspondent bank chartered specifically to serve the needs of community financial institutions across the United States.  We are looking for an Analyst Consultant in our Atlanta, GA location.

Job Summary

 

Financial and analytical modeling for consulting projects including but not limited to human resources advisory, executive compensation, strategic branching and strategic planning.  Support consultants, senior consultants and principals with research, reports and projects.  Receive guidance with respect to general objectives and determine methods, work sequence, scheduling and how to achieve objectives of assignments for the tasks and projects assigned.

 

Major Responsibilities

q Develop practice area (e.g., strategic planning, strategic branching, executive compensation or HR advisory) subject matter expertise

q Use analytical skills and subject matter expertise to determine best solution for client needs

q Assist execution of research projects to determine industry trends, de novo trends, characteristics of successful community banks, etc.

 

Job Requirements

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

 

Experience: 1 - 4 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

 

Skills/Knowledge:

q Demonstrated analytical skills

q Proficient personal computer skills including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer and email (preferably Lotus Notes) Excellent customer service skills

q Ability to organize and pay close attention to detail

q Ability to travel (up to 50%)

q Competent communication (written, verbal and presentations)

q Basic understanding of banking operations

q Basic understanding of banking financials

q Ability to prioritize

q Time management skills

q Self starter

q Previous consulting experience desired
