Analyst II (Accounting)

Performs all corporate accounting and bookkeeping functions, including A/P, A/R, prepaids, fixed assets, month-end close including inter-company eliminations, and account reconciliations. Performs ad hoc financial analysis, which could potentially include internal and external reporting.May perform all aspects of accounting, financial analysis and internal and external reporting to support financial decisions. Apply financial and technology skills to successfully prepare reports on a timely basis.Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 2 - 4 years of accounting or analytical experience required. Would consider a proven track record as a bookkeeper or corporate accountant utilizing QuickBooks, including A/P and month-end close, in lieu or education.MUST BE AN EXPERIENCED QUICKBOOK USER.Working knowledge of office equipment and use of personal computers including spreadsheet, database management, graphics and word processing applications. Ability to analyze and interpret information and data. Good analytical and reasoning skills. Excellent oral and written skills. Able to handle multiple tasks while appropriately prioritizing projects. Must be able to apply accounting and/or finance concepts in performing moderately complex analysis. Understanding of basic accounting theory is needed in order to perform accounting functions, analysis and problem solving responsibilities. Attention to detail and accurate analysis is essential.
