Essential Job Functions: Obtains and participates in the analysis of all necessary documentation including, all notes, pledges and collateral and assures that the documentation correctly reflects rates, terms and special conditions. Prepare thorough credit underwriting identifying industry concerns, financial trends and other pertinent underwriting issues. Support Loan Managers with approvals regarding lending commitments, amendments and waivers to credit facilities, and monitor the accuracy of loan covenant compliance certificates. Assist in the documentation and closing of credit facilities (RANs, TANs, BANs). Process CAP approvals in conjunction with Global Treasury Management. Monitor accounts to determine liquidity, earnings trends, management capability and other essential information to secure the bank's position to minimize potential losses. Identify potential problem accounts and works to improve the bank's position in undesirable situations where insufficient profitability exists. Generate weekly Public Sector Loan Funding Report. Assists Relationship and Loan Managers in structuring transactions. Ensure that client files (6th Floor File Room) include current information including latest CWA, current Loan/Reimbursement Agreement, covenant compliance certificates, and recent financial statements. Required Skills: BA in accounting, finance, business, economics or related field. Strong data gathering skills demonstrated through: Research i) How to use it? ii) Where to find it? iii) Leverage prior deal knowledge iv) Begin digging deeper into the meaning of the data gathered. Strong understanding of basic financial metrics, demonstrated as Key ratios. Understanding what's relevant. The interdependency of the data Developing covenant package. Ability to Leverage/maintain Internal Data Systems and Technology such as: CWA MS Office MFA Risk Rating Models ROE. Ability to Communicate Professionally and Competently. Verbal Credit write-up/approval meetings. Depend analysis. Written Basic grammar. Spelling Content. Logical format/credit agreement. Competency with Microsoft office suite Preferred Skills: Competence in Financial Modeling, demonstrated by a) Repetitive modeling b) Good accounting knowledge e) Unique analysis f) Analysis in support of due diligence g) Knowledge of collateral valuation.
