Application Developer

Modis, a leader in the staffing industry, is searching for an Application Developer on behalf of our client who can meet the following skill and experience requirements:REQUIREMENTS:  Should Have 5-10 years working with BEA Weblogic, IBM Websphere, Sun Servers, Solaris 2.8, Java/J2ee, Oracle database, MQ, Html, Services Oriented Architecture Strategies.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Java, C++, or C#, Possibly Team Lead experience. Application development from start to finish. Consistent Full Life Cycle projects. Some Financials, Long Term assignments, Previous experience designing and developing investment banking applications, most likely in Foreign Exchange, Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities, Prime brokerage - any other niche products. May also assume some architecture duties, including the development and maintenance of business and system architectures. May conduct complex technology and system assessments. Supports and advises internal clients and technical management. Experience with MQ Series, Swing, JavaScript, Corba, XML, TIBCO, FIX, Swift, other messaging or middleware tools. May assume senior architect role, developing and maintaining architectures. Provides vision, expertise and technology-based solutions in long range planning in the area of systems architecture.
