Won’t you join us?  Outstanding opportunity available for an Area Retail Leader based in Milwaukie, Oregon. Essential Job Functions  Meets or exceeds established production and contribution margin goals by ensuring the branch retail teams are using the sales and service model in all client interactions.  This is accomplished through monthly observation, coaching sessions; joint sales calls and using the coaching model; developing/utilizing individual action plans and training plans for each direct report. Monthly inspection of the Key Sales Process and the Consultative Sales Process ensures Book of Business and system generated leads from the Desktop are proactively managed. Conducts monthly sales meetings. Leads by example and ensures consistent delivery of distinctive service for all clients. Utilizes the annual district marketing plan to support the district and area performance goals. Serves as the market leader in his/her area; fosters strong partnerships with all lines of business, the District President and the District Operations Leader. Partners regularly with Business banking Relationship Managers, KIS Financial Advisors and Mortgage Advisors in coaching sessions to develop the team strategies. Establishes a team environment where corporate and district strategies are communicated, open two-way dialogue is encouraged and best practice sharing is prevalent; promotes teamwork at both the direct report level and within the branches. Ensures that Branches are staffed with highly motivated, client-focused, team oriented individuals; interviews and selects all Branch Managers and participates in the recruitment and selection of Lead Tellers and Relationship Managers. Engages in a disciplined approach to Human Capital by holding teams accountable for performance, providing training, recognizing/rewarding high performers and holding Branch Managers to the same standard.    Marginal Job Functions: Participates in District and Corporate project teams. Community involvement including Board leadership/membership leveraging networking /business development opportunities.    Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree (business or finance preferred) or equivalent experience. Series 6 licensed or commitment to begin licensing process within 18 months of accepting the position. Minimum of 5 - 7 years in a leadership role; multi-site management preferred. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales plans and lead teams to sales success. Proven experience in managing both sales and operations in the financial services industry. Comprehensive understanding of financials, credit and lending practices and business banking. Effective communications including listening and presentation skills.   Preferred Skills: Significant leadership experience and skills.
