Become a part of our dynamic and growing company and make an impact in the following role:Asset-Liability Analyst· Assists in monitoring of daily liquidity position and assists traders in security research, evaluation and performance monitoring. Serve as functional back-up to Operations Supervisor, whose duties include: daily sales and settlement of Federal funds transactions, security delivery/settlement/safekeeping, and collateral monitoring · Assists in supporting the branch network by providing quotes for time deposits that exceed $250,000, as well as time deposits for all State and political Subdivision accounts. · Assists in the Asset Liability management process by helping the Vice President/Asset Liability Analyst accumulate and analyze the data required by the Bank’s Asset Liability model. Assist in creating/distributing periodic reports that are distributed to the Asset Liability Committee. · Assists in supporting the Bank’s wholesale and retail derivative instruments operations, by documenting transactions, tracking the monthly mark to market of derivatives, and assisting in the preparation of periodic accounting and regulatory derivative reports.· Performs specific projects and research as needed.Our People are First Bank’s most valuable asset. Required assets to perform this position successfully are: · Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Finance or Economics from a four-year college or university; at least one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. · Knowledge of securities, derivative instruments and/or asset/liability management preferred. · PC proficiency in Word and Excel required. · Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
