We are currently looking for an Assistant Branch Manager for our Sunrise Branch. You will be responsible for assisting the overall management of the retail branch. Responsibilities include the direction, coordination, supervision and control of the operational aspects of the branch, while providing support and guidance to the sales efforts. Emphasis is placed on insuring the branch effectively supports the organization's 'brand' through its sales and service efforts while maintaining effective control over it's operational aspects and exposure.
In this position you will:
Insure staff members adhere to established policies, procedures and controls. Effectively establish and communicate the goals to staff members, gain commitment and establish plan of action for goal attainment Adhere to general bank regulatory procedures including BSA/AML as it pertains to "know your customer" Effectively meet client’s needs through FiNAP process to sell, cross-sell or refer to specialists Provide coaching, recognition, motivation and skill development to staff members on a consistent and daily basis Support new marketing campaigns and product launches and the development of micro-marketing efforts to achieve sales results Supervise currency shipments to and from Federal Reserve along with Teller Supervisor Assist in the performance evaluation of branch employees and monitor them to ensure work is processed and performed in accordance with Bank policy and operating instructions Ensure that branch overall operations are maintained consistent with operating standards Clearly communicates performance expectations and actively seeks ideas/suggestions for performance improvement while providing the appropriate amount of guidance Identifies more critical and less critical assignments and allocates appropriate amount of time for completing own and others’ work Identify the need for and collects information to better understand issues, problems and opportunities Conduct clinics, product/service/concept training to insure that the staff is prepared to foster the sharing and cross - pollination of successful tips and ideas among one another Keep abreast of branch production, sales goals and referral levels Shares managerial responsibilities delegated by the Branch Manager Ensure and maintain dual control through all appropriate functions/tasks/activities Identify problems and implement solutions efficiently, notify appropriate sources of issue and outcomes Responsible for the daily security measures including daily opening and closing of the branch and changing the ATM and Branch tapes Responsible for insuring inquiries and investigations are completed timely Maintain control of suspense and deferred items, prepare all write offs and charge offs, and perform all overdraft account maintenance Maintain custody of vaults, combinations, official checks, ATM cards, petty cash Control and prepare bait listing, authorization limits, and setting up Tellers Ability to access various workstations and areas of the bank Report system, equipment problems and monitor the Kronos system

Ability to effectively coach employees Effective organizational and analytical skills Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established time frames Computer literate; fluency in Microsoft Office programs, Excel analysis required Effective sales ability and persuasiveness Ability to supervise and evaluate employees performance Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships both internally and externally Strong problem-solving, negotiation & follow-up skills Knowledge of banking products, services, policies, procedures and regulations Effective oral and written communication skills Complete knowledge of all operational policies and procedures Associates or Bachelors Degree combined with banking courses from an accredited school, along with a minimum 5 years related management experience in a financial services or retail organization
