The Assistant Teller Supervisor is responsible for cross-selling products and services and coaching selling skills. Along with the Teller Supervisor, will determine and monitor work procedures, schedules and delegate duties to staff, receive and respond to client errors and complaints as related to Teller operations. Other responsibilities include learning personnel aspects such as interviewing, training and developing employees, administering performance appraisals and recommending compensation adjustments. Provide information and reports to management as necessary.Required SkillsHigh School graduate or equivalent plus additional education or training including a minimum of two years banking experience required. Previous supervision and related coursework a plus. Requires knowledge of Teller operations and negotiable instruments. Must exercise ingenuity, analyze situations and apply judgment required to make decisions of an administrative nature.
