On any given day more than 600 attorneys and 450 paralegals are working for Special Counsel.  Please let Special Counsel help you with your next career move! We are looking for a contract attorney with a strong consumer lending or specifically mortgage lending and regulatory background.  Experience with capital markets, transactional work or servicing is also attractive.  We are looking for an attorney with prime/sub-prime residential mortgage loan servicing and originations experience. Position will work with directly with the General Counsel, responsibilities will include business agreements of all kinds, service agreement, lending agreements, communication with regulatory agency requests and audits, must have solid knowledge of the mortgage industry and competitor practices, must remain aware of changes in the regulatory environment. Must have solid transactional background contracts, regulatory compliance, services, policies, and procedures.
