Auditor --Loss Mitigation Dept

Franklin American Mortgage Company, one of the fastest growing mortgage companies in the country, is currently seeking an Auditor to work in our Loss Mitigation Department located at our corporate offices in Franklin, TN. This position will be responsible for reviewing closed, suspended and denied loans for data and document integrity.

Duties include:Audit EPD and Repurchase billings for FHA, VA and Conventional loans. Review DU, LP and manually underwritten files for document integrity to support UW decisions. Document any situation not addressed in the file or findings as they arise. Conduct detailed investigation for integrity issues. Potential misrepresentation or fraud if suspected. Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:High School dipolma required, college degree preferred. 3-5 years experience in mortgage industry. Strong underwriting skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Must be able to effectively communicate among different levels of individuals within the company and the outside. Well organized, self starter, ability to prioritize multiple assignments. Oustanding clerical skills in operating general office equipment, especially PC and various industry software packages. Professional dress required daily. Team orientation/ Team player.
