Invest in you!Responsible for performing due diligence and quality control on identified high risk clients at the customer level. Use multiple bank systems to evaluate front-line clients risk profiles and determine appropriate risk coding. Responsible for understanding BSA/AML/OFAC Regulations and applying this knowledge to enhancing current Policy and Procedures.  Assist the BSA/AML Compliance Officer in responding to both internal and external audits. Assist management in achieving compliance goals by identifying and recognizing potential money laundering situations. Create and/or document case studies, risk assessments, and training materials for use in bank-wide compliance policy implementation and compliance training efforts. Partner with the Financial Investigations Unit and Business Lines to address high-risk client segments. Other job duties as required.Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university or 3-6 years of equivalent industry experience. FINRA Series 7 and 24 licenses preferred. Strong working knowledge of Broker/Dealer and Bank policies and controls. Direct experience using broker/dealer mainframe and web-based applications is required as are strong internet research skills. Desired applicants will have an investigation background including experience in bank operations, compliance or audit. Knowledge of BSA, AML, OFAC and FINRA regulations, training and compliance is strongly preferred.  This position requires effective written and verbal communication skills.  BSA Specialists will act as both individual contributors and members of compliance teams. Union Bank of California offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including a 401K plan.
