WHAT ARE THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION?Executes quantitative analyses to calculate values and hedge ratios of the origination pipeline Develops financial models accounting for derivative pricing and the use of various interest rate indices to support trading/hedging function Develops databases for providing relevant statistics for secondary marketing management, including put and call prices and underlying analytics Calculates values and hedge ratio sensitivities Provides values for daily pricing and buy/sell transactions Works with vendors to resolve pricing and loan locking issues Performs financial analysis of mortgage pricing models and makes recommendations to State Farm Bank management

ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONJob Overview: State Farm Bank is seeking a Secondary Marketing Analyst in its Home Finance area. The role of a Secondary Marketing Analyst at State Farm Bank is a new and developing position which will be participating in a variety of activities related to product pricing, pipeline management, and the sale of mortgage loans into the secondary market . This position will specifically entail working closely with other members of the Secondary Marketing Department in setting up policies and procedures in regards to the pricing, rate lock management, hedging/trading, and the securitization of loans into Fannie Mae pools, as well as performing all duties associated with these tasks. There will also be the potential for involvement in other analytical projects as assigned by management.

Key Position Requirements:

Working knowledge of financial institutions and products. Hands-on experience with mortgage banking, secondary markets, and portfolio management disciplines. Thorough knowledge of quantitative disciplines to be applied in maintaining daily pricing models and pipeline management activities. Ability to develop and write policies and procedures in regards to secondary marketing functions. Experience in securitizing loans into MBS pools and managing the monthly pool settlements with Fannie Mae and/or Freddie Mac. Hands-on experience with QRM Risk Management System is a plus.
