Banking Wire Rep in Covina

Christian Community Credit Union is looking for the right candidate to work in our Electronic Services Department in Covina, CA, as a full-time, Wire Transfer Representative. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, processing all domestic and international wire requests, ensuring wires contain correct route transit identifiers and destination information; corresponding through secured email system with member accounts both domestic and international; providing assistance to both internal and external members; maintaining all wire licenses, verifying sanctions and restrictions.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Cultivate and retain member accounts by determining the nature and extent of each member's financial service needs and make them aware of additional services and accounts available; give each member the best possible service; actively sell and promote the credit union's full line of investments and financial services in person, over the phone and in writing.

 

HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm (Flexible 40 hours per week)

SALARY: $14 to $18 per hour, relevant on past experience

The selected applicant will first have a trial period through a temporary agency before being considered for regular employment.

REQUIREMENTS:



· Two years of PC knowledge and experience required

· Two years of operations’ experience required

· Knowledge of word processing (Word preferred) and spreadsheets (Excel preferred)

· Basic accounting principles and math aptitude

· Ability to take initiative

· Analytical and interpretive skills for problem solving

· Strong organization, communication and time management skills

· Aptitude for detail work

· Acquire knowledge of credit union loan policies

· Analytical skills to infer information from data

· Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, handle multiple tasks and prioritize work

 

TESTING will be conducted for the required skills of Typing at 35wpm, 10-key by touch, Basic Math, Word, Excel, Proofreading and the ability to lift 20 lbs.
