We also manage to keep a sense of humor along the way.  So if you’re ready for WaMu, read on! The responsibilities of the Asset Recovery Bankruptcy Specialist include managing bankruptcy timelines for conventional loans serviced on multiple servicing systems. The responsibility will be to monitor and target loans with delays to ensure that our vendor and/or attorneys are following state and investor guidelines. Experience in bankruptcy or default timeline processing is required.  Candidate must be able to identify issues resulting in delay in the bankruptcy process, work with our vendor and attorney network, respond to audits and have excellent oral and written communication skills. May be required to meet specific quality and volume requirements for specified activities.Qualifications:• 3-5 years experience with Default Mortgage Servicing• Knowledge of guarantor, insurer and investor rules and regulations• Knowledge of Fidelity (MSP) system• Advance knowledge of Word & Excel programs• Able to independently apply competencies in routine and more complex situations• Understand loan and payment histories and knowledge how to handle research and RESPA requests• Communicate effectively with diverse groups and individuals• Establish effective work relationships according to requirements of position• Demonstrated knowledge of loan service industry in areas of investor, insurer, regulatory, and state servicing requirements; remedies available for specific loan types; and real estate fundamentals• Consistent attention to detail and organizational skills demonstrated by professional follow-through• Problem-Solving Skills: Research, gather, arrange, compile, summarize, and evaluate data in recommending solutions• Customer Service: Exhibit ability to establish personal credibility and patience with customers and third parties• Time Management: Ability to work well in fast paced/multi-tasking environment• Collaboration: Work with peers and team to establish successful team environment.
