Boston Institutional Client Services, Senior Specialist

The position is responsible for providing quality, cost-effective customer service for both the underlying customer base, and Boston Institutional Sales Trading desk. The incumbent will be providing operational support to the sales force; the individual should have good organizational skills, be able to work under pressure, and react promptly. Responsibilities include: overseeing the regional effort to reduce and minimize the amount of risk and exposure placed to the firm by ensuring the accuracy of the trade settlement process; through attention to detail in trade confirmation/allocation and ensuring trades are settled on time; account reconciliation and exception resolution. Accountabilities also include establishing a strong working partnership with the customer base and sales force, supporting strategic initiatives that streamline current processes to minimize and reduce manual redundancies. In addition, the individual will have to comply with regulatory requirements and escalation guidelines.

Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of client service/settlement experience, a plus. Series 7/66 Registration, a plus Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment. Strong oral and written communication skills to be able to interact successfully with sales representatives, traders, clients, custodian banks and ML regions Strong analytical skills and trouble-shooting abilities Book-keeping, research and reconciliation experience, a plus Strong sense of teamwork, dedication, and reliability Ability to work extended hours and on weekends and US Holidays, when required, to meet job demands
