Qualified candidates will ensure quality member service and direct branch activities to achieve credit union goals. ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:Maintains high level of member service by continually focusing on the service climate in the branch and ensuring the staff’s adherence to the Branch Service Standards. Manages branch staff and directs management activities of the Assistant Branch Manager and Operations Supervisor(s). Establishes performance goals, allocates resources, and assesses performance of staff. Responsible for the selecting, coaching, evaluating, and developing of all branch staff; focuses on career pathing of direct reports; oversees the training of staff in the areas of member service, products and services, operations, and interpersonal skills. Ensures training objectives are met, including regulatory training, and Wescom University core curriculum is completed by all employees. Develops annual goals for service, growth, and other key areas for assigned branch. Attracts new members and manages member and account retention. Ensures staff efforts are focused on achieving goals and aligned with Wescom’s strategic objectives. Administers the branch budget and ensures expense control in all areas including salaries and overtime. Directs branch marketing efforts and provides remote marketing support for credit union products. Coordinates and/or conducts member seminars. Participates in community events to fulfill our social responsibility to the communities we serve. Actively participates in Chamber of Commerce meetings and activities as well as CCUL Chapter events. Ensures branch compliance with audit and security standards, policies and procedures and loss prevention measures. Ensures that the physical environment of the branch is maintained according to Wescom’s standards and the staff’s appearance reflects the desired level of professionalism.
