Branch Manager - Forest Lakes

SunTrust Bank, a leader in the Banking Industry, is looking for Branch Manager Candidates for our New Forest Lakes (Kendall and 167th Ave.) location. We are looking  for Branch Managers who are creative, career-oriented employees who will strengthen our market presence and enhance shareholder value. Responsibilities: Responsible for driving branch performance results through direction,leadership and execution of superior sales and service behaviors and activities by the entire team in order to meet/exceed branch sales goals. Plans, organized, directs, and controls the activities of a branch. Conducts outside sales to bring in new business banking clients, while also maintaining and expanding existing personal and business banking relationships. Meets/exceeds individual sales and referral goals. Provides expertise in operation and risk management policies and procedures. Conduct sales meetings and coordinates strategy with Area Manger. Responsible for the selection and retention of top talent, preparation and conducting of timely performance reviews and pay decisions within the branch. Licensed Branch Mangers hold an insurance license and may also have variable annuity Series 6 and 63. Minimum Qualifications: High School education or equivalent. Previous Branch Banking Manager and or supervisory experience. Three years experience in a retail banking environment. Minimum 3 years exp as Branch Mgr or equivalent exp in the financial services industry. Minimum 2-3 year’s management exp in a financial services environment with demonstrated superior sales and sales leadership skills. Requires 3 yrs previous management exp in a financial services environment with demonstrated superior sales & leadership skills. Bilingual Spanish a must. Preferred Requirements: Post High School education. Minimum of 3 years management experience in a retail, sales, or financial services environment with demonstrated sales and sales leadership skills. Knowledge of regulatory and compliance policies.
