Wescom Credit Union Honored Nationally as One of the 25 Best Companies to Work in America This is an excited opportunity!  As a Branch Operations Supevisor you will assists the branch management team in the supervision and operations of the tellers and platform departments in a full-service branch office that is open seven days a week. Ensures quality member service and assists in directing branch activities to achieve credit union goals. Assumes responsibility for all branch functions in the absence of the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager.  ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS: -Maintains high level of member service by continually focusing on the service climate in the branch and ensuring staff’s adherence to the Branch Service Standards. -Promotes advocacy and ensures that all member service issues are handled properly. -Focuses on achieving successful results in the Member Service Survey ratings. -Performs and approves various day-to-day teller transactions including, but not limited to check approvals, check hold decisions, cash verification/approvals, and transaction overrides. -Performs and approves various day-to-day loan transactions including, but not limited to loan review and approvals. -Provides operational support and acts as a resource for the platform/tellers on policies and procedures. -Supports achievement of annual goals for service, growth, and other key areas for assigned branch. -Ensures staff efforts are focused on achieving goals aligned with Wescom’s strategic objectives. -Attracts new members and supervises the member and account retention efforts as well as the referral efforts of the staff. -Participates in the selection, coaching, evaluating, and development of staff. -Assists branch management with training oversight in the areas of member service, products and services, regulatory training, operations, referrals and interpersonal skills. -Ensures training objectives are met and that Wescom University core curriculum is completed by branch employees. -Performs routine audits of negotiable instruments as well as review and balancing of assigned GL reconcilements. -Ensures branch compliance with audit and security standards, policies and procedures, and loss prevention measures. -Ensures expense control in areas including salaries, overtime and the purchasing of supplies. -Ensures that the physical environment of the teller area is maintained according to Wescom’s standards and that staff appearance reflects the desired level of professionalism.  EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree and previous supervisory experience preferred.Banking experience a plus! OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of the credit union’s operating system.  COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). We provide equal opportunity employment and do not discriminate against individuals on the basis of race, creed, origin, color, religion, sexual orientation, marital status, age, mental or physical disability, citizenship status, or medical condition. TO COMPLETE AN APPLICATION ON-LINE  Please follow the instructions below (internet access is required): Step 1: Log onto our website at www.wescom.orgStep 2: Select Careers at WescomStep 3:  Select Show all jobs  Step 4: Select the position of interest and click applyStep 5: Begin to create your profile and follow the required steps.  In the event your qualifications are a match for the position you applied for, a Recruiter will contact you.
