Branch Sales Specialist

SUMMARY: To assist with achieving Bank growth and profitability goals by effectively designing, implementing the branch’s marketing and business development plan, selling deposit and credit products and providing high quality customer service for all customers.

REQUIREMENTS:


Ø  High School diploma or GED plus one year bank sales experience as a Customer Service Representative.

Ø  Knowledge of retail lending policies and procedures

Ø Possess strong selling, referral and service skills to effectively sell the Bank’s products.

Ø  Spanish and Portuguese preferred.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø  Actively sell the Bank’s retail products and services in a professional manner. This includes all deposit products and retail credit products, while maintaining established production levels. May participate in outside sales calls with other loan officers. Refer loan customers as necessary to other local lending officers.

Ø  Provide information to customers concerning credit products; interview loan applicants; collect appropriate data; process loan requests; finalize documentation and disburse funds.

Ø  Provide information to customers on deposit products and services; gather pertinent customer information, open new accounts and prepare documentation as necessary, ensuring that all new accounts are properly set up and processed.

Ø  Market the Bank’s services via telephone and correspondence in a professional, sales-oriented manner and maintain an active retail prospect list for telemarketing.

Ø  Perform administrative requests for customers i.e. account maintenance, research, processing paperwork and answer questions and resolve problems for customers concerning all services provided by the Bank; identify the problem, collect data, secure answers and reports results to the inquiring party and work with the Head Teller and Office Manager, or other bank associates as necessary.

Ø  Perform as a teller when needed.

Ø  Ensure compliance with federal regulations on all loan applications and deposit product documentation. Keep current on product knowledge, competition and on compliance issues related to deposit and lending products.

Ø  Actively participate in retail selling programs and sales meetings, making monthly sales presentations as assigned.

Ø  Represent the Bank in the community and develop and promote additional business by attending and participating in civic meetings and gatherings, volunteering for activities, etc.

Ø  Perform scanning duties as needed for both loan and deposit accounts.
Ø  Perform other duties as assigned.
