In this dynamic role, the successful candidate will:
Work with business area officers and managers and act as a liaison between the business community and the Information Technology (IT) organization.Research and prepare content for IT communications to business areas.Propose automation solutions/options in response to business issues.Possess knowledge of the business units they support.Collect, analyze, review, and document business needs and requirements and communicate them to IT.Analyze business unit operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions.Focus on improving business processes at all times, assisting with the development of metrics, both within IT and the business organizations.Facilitate business process redesign and documentation as needed.Translate high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications.Communicate the direction of the business units they support to IT staff through meetings or information sharing events.Negotiate agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business units and IT from initial requirements to final implementation.Possess knowledge of technological trends to bring solutions to business units supported.Ability to manage projects of limited scope and complexity.

Essential Skills
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.Professional Manager of Projects (PMP) certification desired, or a willingness to be certified within a year.Five years or more of related work experience.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.Superior research, presentation, and analytical skills required.Effective project management skills, highly organized, and possess the ability to prioritize assignments.Knowledge of the FRS Technology Project Standards (TPS) preferred.Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley/COSO preferred.
