For more information, please visit www.Fiserv.com POSITION PURPOSEUsing a solid understanding of Financial Institution Interest Rate Risk, Budgeting/Planning, and overall Performance Management/Profitability software systems and data, this position identifies supports the delivery of our Vantage product line. The Business Analyst is focused on capturing the business, functional, and technical requirements necessary to implement features within the Vantage suite by eliciting, analyzing, validating, documenting, verifying, and managing the requirements through the development life cycle. The Business Analysis assists the development team, support team, and professional services team in understanding and implementing new functionality and with finding solutions for client issues on existing functionality. Works with Client Services to answer application questions and respond to problems reported by clients. RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain detailed knowledge of existing functionality of feature requirements for the Vantage product line(s).Assist the development team, support team, and professional services team in understanding and implementing new functionality and with finding solutions for client issues (third tier support). Write requirements and design specifications for new functionality for the Vantage product line extensions.Work with Client Services to answer application questions and respond to problems reported by clients. Responsible for acceptance testing of new functionality implemented in the Vantage product to ensure that the software is functioning per the original specifications. Review project test plans and test cases created by our QA organization to ensure they adequately meet the testing requirements of the project. Participate in calls to important clients for the purpose of sales assistance or product support and articulation of the company’s further direction when appropriate.Review and edit user documentation for content and accuracy.The above statements are intended only to describe the general nature of the job, and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of position responsibilities. POSITION QUALIFICATIONSEducationBachelor’s degree in business, finance, computer science, computer information systems, or equivalent education in a related discipline. Job Related Experience Requires a minimum of 2-5 years of working in a bank or credit union.Experience with general ledger, budgeting, financial reporting, profitability and / or interest rate risk.Must have knowledge of strong conceptual and analytical knowledge of budgeting, interest rate risk and profitability management of a financial institution.A demonstrated understanding of how financial services organizations operate and manage financial processes and the monthly reporting process.
