Business Banking Representatives

Needham Center, Coolidge Corner & Harvard Square

In this role, you will provide superior sales and service to our small business client base. You’ll be charged with retaining and expanding an assigned portfolio, growing and maintaining revenue, providing personalized service and effectively cross selling.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

* Identify and provide appropriate financial solutions which lead to maximum retention rates, growth and profitability

* Thoroughly assess needs, drawing from the full spectrum of Sovereign’s business products and services to produce total integrated financial solutions

* Assist clients in making informed decisions about their financial needs

* Provide extraordinary, memorable and personalized customer service exceeding customer expectations

* Make appropriate referrals

* Use sound judgment and acts within authority

 

Qualifications:

 

* 2-4 yrs of sales and relationship management experience

* A thorough knowledge of business banking products and services

* Understanding of various securities, investments, annuities and retirement plans

* Strong communication, organizational and time management skills

* Excellent sales, service and relationship management skills

* Ability to make independent decisions

* Comprehension of all appropriate policies, procedures, and processes and keeps abreast of financial industry news and advances

* Ability to identify, respond and resolve the diverse needs of the customer

* Banking experience preferred
