Business Development Representative - New Orleans, LA

The Business Development Representative (BDR) directly generates revenue by selling products and services within an assigned territory through direct, face-to-face contact. We offer flexible home and sales office environments and extensive training and development, as well as over achiever plans (which include our annual Pacesetters trip) for those who meet the sales challenge.

We also offer the following:
• $81,000/First year total compensation earning potential. Six Figure incomes are very realistic from year two out.
• Residual income streams for out year accounts.
• Base plus commission and bonus, which include comprehensive benefits as well as expense allowance.


The BDR will solicit and prospect merchants to use Chase Paymentech Solutions merchant processing services, focusing on opportunities ranging from $250k - $25MM in annual bankcard sales processing volume. This person will be responsible for generating referrals from Chase Bank Small Business Channel. The BDR will meet assigned sales objectives and targets, cultivate assigned sales territory, as well as participate in sales meetings, trade shows and training sessions. The BDR will continue to keep informed of product and industry changes as well as training seminars for relative product enhancements. In addition, this person will give presentations and complete required sales documentation and administrative duties.

 

 

• 1-3 years sales or business development experience.
• Reliable car needed for all locations except major cities with public transportation.
• Good selling, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Successful track record selling to businesses.
• Industry experience is desired.
• Requires ability to canvass extensively in assigned territory.
• PC literate.
• Bachelors Degree a plus.
