Business Intelligence Analyst

Accredited Home Lenders is looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst!  This position will be responsible for developing, deploying, maintaining and supporting Business Intelligence (BI) tools in order to enhance the analytics and reporting provided to key decision-makers throughout the company.  The BI Department approaches its mission from the User's perspective and delivers its product through close cooperation with the BI unit within Information Technology.

Essential Job Functions:

· Become a Power User of all BI software tools.  Create adhoc and production reports and analyses for internal customers in all departments using various BI software tools.

· Gather, document and validate customer requirements using standard reporting specification templates and support ticket system. Assist in maintenance of Data Element Glossary and other meta-data documentation.

· Perform daily validations of production reporting data presented in Data Warehouse and various reporting tools; investigate discrepancies and work closely with Information Technology department to solve data quality issues.

· Support the deployment and usage of BI tools by developing and conducting training classes for users throughout the company; prepare and distribute materials that communicate and promote the release of new BI reports and tool functionality.

· Respond to BI software user support requests either via phone or email.

 Qualifications (Education and Experience):

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 5 years of related experience.  ProClarity and Informatica PowerAnalyzer experience preferred.  Must have intermediate to advanced MS skills (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Access, and others).
