Business Intelligence Architect
The Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse consultant will assist with the design, development and delivery of a technology solution that integrates data from a vast set of data sources with complex data models. The Business Intelligence Architect must be a self-starter and should very quickly be able to analyze data sources to find pieces of information needed for reporting purposes.
Requirements
8 years of software development
• 5 years of experience in one or more of the following database disciplines as a developer (not a DBA): Data warehousing, Large OLAP cubes (more than six dimensions)
Very large databases (greater than 1TB)
• Experience with some type of reporting package; preferably Microsoft Reporting Services but Actuate or Crystal Reports would also be acceptable
Pluses:
• Extensive experience with nested set models
• Extensive experience with recursive queries
• Experience with multiple database platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, etc)
Will need to do ad hoc reporting, experience working with very complicated scripts, person should be high end but also be willing to get their hands dirty.
