Business Manager

Job Description: Our Client has an outstanding career opportunity for a Business Group Manager in Downtown Manhattan who will be responsible for the management of a group of Relationship Managers and Trust Associates as well providing client servicing. The emphasis on this position is management experience (budgeting, P&L, staff development), administrative experience, as well as the ability to provide proactive and independent decision making capability.

Responsibilities include the negotiation of new accounts, the coordination of services for assigned clients, the monitoring of contractual obligations for these accounts, and active participation in retentive marketing efforts for securing additional business opportunities with clients, law firms, investment bankers and other industry professionals. An in-depth knowledge of global finance is required as well as strong client servicing and presentation skills.

Business Skills:

* 5-10 years experience in financial positions with experience in structured finance (mortgage backed securities (MBS) or Asset Backed Securities

(ABS)

or Collateral Debt Obligations (CDO) in a corporate trust environment.

Alternatively, if you have a background in settlements, DTC or corporate debt processing we would also be interested in speaking with you.
