Business-to-Business Sales Manager for Financial Institution
My client is a top-rated Southern California based business bank. In fact, they have out-performed their competition in growth and customer service, with double digit year-over-year growth since the bank’s inception just a few years ago. This is a true independent bank, whose focus is relationship banking, and serving the businesses and business owners in the community were they work and live. We are in search of a VP, Sales Manager. This is a brand new position whose sole focus will be to improve the sales culture throughout the bank. You will have an opportunity to truly make this role your own as the bank has objectives, but you will chart your own course towards success. The expectations are high, and so are the rewards. For your efforts and accompanying success, you will earn lucrative incentives and have exciting growth opportunities. You will be responsible to the executives and the board directly, and have opportunities to create and influence policy. Minimum Requirements: A background in sales and sales management with a focus in business-to-business outside sales A proven/documented track record of exceeding aggressive sales objectives in a business-to-business outside sales role Ability to work autonomously Experience in training and coaching a dedicated sales staff Ability to track, monitor performance/improvements and provide individual mentorship Experience in leading by example as a sales manager who can manage as well as produce Banking/financial industry experience preferred, but NOT required We regret that we cannot accept resumes or consider candidates who do not meet the minimum requirements above.
